Morten Thomsen

Before co-founding SECONI, Morten worked as a freelance Cloud Security Architect at APENTO, a Danish IT consultancy. There, he led security projects for some of Denmark’s largest organisations, specialising exclusively in Microsoft security technologies. He holds almost every Microsoft Security certification and is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

Prior to APENTO, Morten served as an Infrastructure Solution Architect for Office 365 Enterprise Security and Compliance at MHI Vestas, where his primary focus was on Microsoft’s security portfolio.

He has also held the role of Manager, Infrastructure Architect, at Nordic Aviation Capital and, before that, worked at Knudsen Consulting as a consultant on large-scale Microsoft deployment projects for major Danish enterprises.

Morten’s IT journey began at EUC Midt (now Mercantec), where he was responsible for the student and faculty IT setup.
